What it is:
A gentle cleanser that reduces oil without over-drying.
What it is formulated to do:
This skincare essential, tailored to the needs of normal-to-oily skin types, helps fade post-inflammatory red spots while minimizing future blemishes. A blend of salicylic acid, azelaic acid, red clover, and golden seal extract delivers clear, healthy results.
My thoughts on this:
I really love that this is not a regular cleanser but an actual targeted treatment for acne. It is not prescribed since it is gentle enough to use everyday, but also helps and reduce your acne without leaving any flaky dryness on your skin. I used this about a week now since I noticed that since I have been using my make up a lot and eating a lot of junk food lately I developed redness that turned into pimples. So I wanted to get something that was easy to use and gentle enough for everyday. Now, I use this just when I have breakouts. And whenever I use it, I also use my daily cleanser that I use regularly. I feel that even though this product is a cleanser, for me i only want it to use it as my acne cleanser. The rest of my face I still want to clean it thoroughly with my normal cleanser. Which ever method you chose is all on you. This is just my method.
Overall, I love the quality and the price for the amount this product has. The scent is fresh smelling and the results are obvious. After loyally using this twice daily morning and night, my pimples and small blemishes began to subside. Which is good; the formula is working lol :) I bought this product at Sephora for $38, but I think sometimes you can catch this on sale for $15...I know...a sale at sephora on a brand name product?? yeah...but yeah, I did see this on sale after I bought it for $15. I was disappointed but I didn't have the audacity to take it back after I had used it and loved it so much. :)
If you get a bottle of this, I think you won't be disappointed with the result. The silicylic acid is what makes your acne go away.
