ดูเหมือน จขกท. จะคิดเป็นไทยเวลาแปลแล้วก็เปิดดิคตามคำต่อคำนะคะ เลยออกมาเป็นอะไรก็ไม่รู้ ต่างชาติอ่านแล้วคงจะงงพิลึก

พี่แก้ไขให้แล้วนะคะ และให้คำอธิบายด้วยว่าแก้เพราะอะไร รวมทั้งมีคำแนะนำในบางเรื่องเพิ่มเติม หวังว่าจะอ่านนะคะ

Fishing and Hunting

                   During the prehistoric era, men lived on hunting. They killed animals for meats to eat and leather to make clothes. Later, after knowing how to raise livestocks, here was no need for them to go out hunting.
 
                   ถ้าเราพูดถึงช่วงของเวลาที่มีระยะยาวนาน ต้องใช้ during ค่ะ ถ้าใช้ in จะเป็นช่วงเวลาของวัน เช่น ช่วงเช้า ช่วงบ่ายอะไรทำนองนี้ ส่วนคำว่า วัว ควาย แกะ พี่ เปลี่ยนไปใช้คำว่า to raise livestocks คำเดียว เลยนะคะ เพราะคลุมการเลี้ยงสัตว์ทุกประเภทในคอก/ฟาร์มอยู่แล้ว พี่ไม่ทราบว่าน้องเขียนภาษาไทยเองด้วยหรือเปล่า เพราะมันอ่านแล้วแหม่งๆ พี่ไม่คิดว่าคนเราจะเลี้ยงสัตว์ (ที่จะใช้เป็นอาหาร) ให้เชื่อง ไปเพื่ออะไร แต่ถ้ายืนยันว่าจะเลี้ยงให้เชื่อง เหมือนเลี้ยงหมาเลี้ยงแมวไว้เป็นเพื่อน อาจต้องกลับไปไล่ชื่อประเภทของสัตว์ตามเดิมที่พยายามแปลมา แต่ว่าต้องเปลี่ยนคำว่า breed เป็นคำว่า pet แทน และทำให้เป็น past tense ด้วย

                    Men were fishermen since the ancient time. They used spear, fishhook, and net to catch fish. They had got to realize that, in the seas and rivers, there were sufficient water creatures abound for them to eat. From then on, fishery has been advanced and became one among the big industries of mankind.
                    
                    ลีลาของภาษาไทยที่เป็นต้นฉบับเป็นลักษณะเล่าเรื่อง เมื่อเราจะแปลก็ควรรักษาลีลาเดิม ไม่จำเป็นต้องไปขุดเอาคำศัพท์ยากๆ ทางวิชาการมาโชว์ตรงนี้ เพราะฉะนั้น ตั้งแต่ดึกดำบรรพ์ พี่เลยใช้คำว่า ancient time แทน หรือ ถ้าอยากให้เป็นภาษาพูด จะใช้คำว่า the old days ก็ได้ และที่เปลี่ยน fish เป็น water creatures ซึ่งหมายถึงสัตว์น้ำ เพราะคิดว่าน่าจะเหมาะสมกว่า การทำประมง ไม่ได้หมายถึงจับปลาอย่างเดียว มันมีทั้ง กุ้ง หอย ปู ปลา สารพัด ส่วนตอนพูดถึงอุปกรณ์จับปลา ไม่รู้ต้นฉบับภาษาไทยเขียนเองหรือเปล่า เพราะปกติพี่ไม่เคยเห็นการใช้ "หอก" แทงปลา นะ แต่ถ้ายืนยันว่าเป็นหอกแน่ๆ ก็ใช้ spear ไปเถอะ แต่ถ้าต้องการหมายถึง "ฉมวก" (อุปกรณ์แทงปลา ลักษณะคล้ายๆ หอก) ต้องใช้คำว่า harpoon แทนคำว่า spear ค่ะ

                      Every years, a big amount of fish were caught from the seas, lakes and rivers. It is estimated that the numbers of fish caught in the world each year are around 40 million metric tons. The Japanese and Peruvian are assumed most competent fishermen, their fishing shares about one third of the world supply. Fish is not only served as the food for people but also that for animals; and is used to produce fertilizer as well.

                     ตรงนี้แก้สำนวนและการใช้คำให้สละสลวย รู้เรื่องขึ้นค่ะ รวมทั้งปรับรูปไวยากรณ์ให้มีความกระชับ ด้วยการใช้ past participle ( บอกไว้ เดี๋ยวจะคิดว่าพิมพ์ตก )

Hunting

                      In certain parts of the world such as Africa, Middle America and South America, many people still live on hunting. However, some people killed intruding animals to protect their plants and pets. But in some part of the world, people hunt animals to show off their courage.

                      ตรงนี้พี่ก็แก้สำนวน การวางรูปประโยค และการใช้คำเหมือนกัน  รวมทั้งแยกประโยคเพื่อให้ตรงเจตนารมณ์ของต้นฉบับ ( แยกส่วนของการล่าเนื้อมาเป็นอาหาร กับการฆ่าสัตว์ที่บุกรุกเข้ามาทำลายพืชผลหรือรบกวนสัตว์เลี้ยง)                    
 

                      Being hunted, some kinds of animal were extinct and some kinds are in danger, for example, tiger, leopard and rhinoceros. Thus, many countries enacts laws prohibiting the hunting of wild animals.

                      แก้ไขการใช้คำค่ะ เพราะคำว่าสูญพันธุ์ และการออกกฎหมายมันมีคำศัพท์อยู่แล้วค่ะ รวมทั้งเพิ่มคำขยาย ให้เหมาะสมกับเนื้อหาค่ะ (  คือ ระบุว่าห้ามการล่า "สัตว์ป่า" หรือ wild animals เท่านั้น ) 

                       โดนแก้เยอะยังไม่ต้องใจเสียนะคะ ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นทักษะที่ต้องเรียนรู้และฝึกฝน  แค่น้องมีความพยายามแปลมาด้วยตัวเองก่อนก็ถือว่าน่าชื่นชมแล้วล่ะค่ะ

Many animals were killed and disappeared from the world. Present, tiger, leopard, and rhinoceros are disappointing from the world. Many countries try to enact the animal laws to forbid hunting some animal.

Every year, plentyfish from sea, river and lake are caught by human approximately 40 million metric tons. Japanese and Peruvian are the top rank who catch most fish in the world around 1 of 3. Fish are not only food for human but they are the food for animals and fertilizer.

In some part of the world such as Africa, Middle America, and South America, there is people who hunts for sustaince. Some hunt just to show their bravery.
