ประวัติวัดพิกุลวราราม
วัดตั้งอยู่บ้านเลขที่ 19 หมู่ที่ 8 ต.บึงพระ อ. เมือง จังหวัดพิษณุโลก วัดพิกุลวรารามสังกัดคณะสงฆ์ฝ่ายมหานิกาย
ความเป็นมา วัดพิกุลวราราม เดิมชื่อ วัดสะพาน3 ต่อมาได้เปลี่ยนชื่อเป็น วัดพิกุลรดาราม ด้วยพระผู้ใหญ่ในสมัยนั้นได้ทำการเปลี่ยนชื่อให้ ปัจจุบันได้เปลี่ยนชื่อเป็น วัดพิกุลวราราม
วัดพิกุลวราราม ได้เริ่มก่อสร้างวัดมาตั้งแต่ วันที่ 15 เมษายน พ.ศ.2490 โดยได้รับการถวายที่ดินจาก พ่อบัว แม่แปลก สนองญาติ เพื่อให้ดำเนินการก่อสร้างวัดเป็นเนื้อที่ 8 ไร่1 งาน 85 ตารางวา และได้ประกาศตั้งเป็นวัดขึ้นในพระพุทธศาสนา จากกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ วันที่ 31 ตุลาคม 2516 และมีชาวบ้านและผู้มีจิตศรัทธามาทำบุญ ฟังเทศน์ ทุกวันพระ ภายในอุโบสถมีหลวงพ่อพระพุทธชินราชซึ่งแบบจำลองมาจากวัดใหญ่ โดยได้ทำการหล่อที่วัดโดยเจ้าอาวาสและชาวบ้านร่วมกัน หน้าอุโบสถมีรูปปั้น พระรารายณ์ทรงครุฑนั่งทับพระราหู ซึ่งมีความเชื่อว่าหากนำของมาถวายแล้วจะมีความเป็นศิริมงคลแก่ชีวิต

And has institute in a Buddhist temple from Ministry of Education on October 31, 2516. Villagers and believer hither for making merits and virtue every Buddhist Sabbath . Inside the chapel have Buddha statue name is Praputtachinrach Model comes from Buddha statue name is Praputtachinrach in Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahatat Woramahawihan. The temple has a statue by The abbot and the villagers together. in front of the chapel have sculpture of King Rama Ns has a Garuda Raho his lap. And Which is believed. Wat Pikulwararam was originally named "Wat Sapan-3". Then it was renamed "Wat Pikulradaram" . Lastly, the official name is "Wat Pikulwararam".
Wat Pikulwararam was build on April 15, 1947, according to 8 rai and 85 square meters land donation of Mr. Bua and Mrs. Prag Sanongyard. On October 31, 1973, it was established as a Buddhist monastery by Ministry of Education.
The Ubosoth (Chapel) houses duplicated Buddha Sculpture of "Prabuddhachinaraj Buddha" from Wat Pha Si Rattana Mahathat (Wat Yai). The front of the Ubosoth consists of Phra Narai on Garuda statue sitting on Phra Rahoo. The statue is the belief of proper life.

Wat Pikulwararam's original name is Wat sapan-sam and is later renamed as Wat Pikulradaram by the high monks of the time and presently is renamed as Wat Pikulwararam . The temple area is plains. Wat Pikulwararam's construction began on 15 April 2490. The land of 8 rai and 85 square meters was consecrated by Mr.Bua Sanongyad and Mrs.Prag Sanongyad for the purpose of temple space construction. The temple has been instituted as a Buddhist temple from Ministry of Education on October 31, 2516. Villagers and believers visit the temple to make merits and and listen to the teachings every Buddhist Sabbath . The Buddha figure situated within the chapel is a Praputtachinrach, modeled after the original Praputtachinrach in Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahatat Woramahawihan. The Buddha figure was co-commissioned by the abbot and the villagers. In front of the chapel there is a sculpture of King Narai with a Garuda Raho his lap. It is believed that by making offerings to the sculpture your life will prosper.
