My first how-to: Isabella goes Rihanna!

Hey everybody. First of all I have to say that I love this site. It's a true source of inspiration and you're all very good at doing make-up. I'm really impressed! I hope that I will learn a lot here and become as good as you are.

A little presentation: My name is Isabella and I'm half Swede, half Portuguese. I live in Stockholm, Sweden with my family, my boyfriend and my dog Sintra. I speak Swedish, English, Spanish and Portuguese but unfortunately I don't understand Thai at all. So please, write to/comment me in English :)

Here's my first "How-to": Isabella goes Rihanna!

First of all, this is what I look like all natural

And this is who I wanna look like, tough case! I'm nervous!

Time to get started. These are the products I will use:

1) Sephora Eyebrow Palette 02
2) IsaDora Mineral Foundation Medium Beige
3) IsaDora Mineral Foundation Powder 10 Golden Bronze
4) Diorshow Blackout Mascara 099
5) L'Oral Color Appeal Platinum
6) Make Up Store Microshadow Muffin
7) Make Up Forever Aqua Creamliner 1
8 ) IsaDora Mineral Blush Powder 35 Raspberry Dream
9) i.d bareMinerals face color 32811 Clear Radiance
10) IsaDora Inliner Kajal 51 Indian Black (I did not use it)
11) L'Oral Colour Endure 607 Heart's Afire
12) L'Oral Colour Endure 608 Buff Naked
13) Elisabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick SPF 15
14) IsaDora Perfect Lipliner 22 Mauve
15) i.d bareVitamins Skin Rev-er Upper
16) Clinique All About Eyes Concealer 04 Medium Petal

I started off using i.d bareVitamins skin rev-er upper as moisturizer which I always do. Thereafter I used Cliniques All About Eyes Concealer to cover up my blemishes, scars and other stuff I want to hide!

After "covering up" I used IsaDora's kabukibrush and covered my face with their Mineral Foundation Powder Medium Beige and a lot of bronze :) (on picture)

Starting with the eyes. I covered the whole yelid up to the eyebrow and even under the eye with a golden shadow from L'Oral.

Result doesn't show very well on the picture. it was really hard to take photos of myself so i'm sorry that you can't see very well what I'm doing... I chose two shades from the ColorWorkshop palette and started to tone the eye with the darkest shadow on the globe line. After that it was time to line in the eye with my new eyeliner which I'm not a proffesional to use yet :P

So this was the result. Time for those amazing lashes. since i have pretty long lashes I don't own any fake lashes. I didn't use any curler, just started out with my Diorshow Mascara (I love it!)

My eyebrows are very light and undefined so I had to help them out with eyebrow shadows.

Better like this?

Time to highlight! I highlighted, using my fingertip, under the eyebrows, on the inner corner of the eye (closest to the nose) and above my cheek bones. Then I used IsaDora's mineral blush to put some colour in my face and i.d's clear radiance for a more glowing appearance.

I have very thin lips so I had to make them that afro-american-juicy by hiding my own lips with the Clinique All About eyes concealer, then building new lips with IsaDora Lipliner and covering them up with a natural/brown lipstick from L'Oral. And then, of course, the RED one!

Tring to take photos of myself, as I said - REALLY DIFFICULT! I had a lot of these kinds of pics.... But however, I'm finished! But in the end I got some good pics too. Enjoy! Do I look like Rihanna now?

So, finally the sum-up!

Isabella Before Transformation. Rihanna herself. Ishanna! :D
